About Me
I am a 2025 graduate of the University at Buffalo with a Master’s in Criminology, in addition to holding a Master’s in Human Resource Management. My academic background reflects a strong interest in understanding human behavior from both a social and organizational perspective, allowing me to approach workplace dynamics with a thoughtful, analytical, and people-centered mindset.
Through my education, I have developed a deep understanding of how structural and social factors influence behavior, as well as the importance of building equitable, ethical, and well-functioning work environments. My studies in Human Resource Management strengthened my knowledge in areas such as talent acquisition, workforce planning, and employee development, while my criminology background enhanced my research, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
Alongside my academic experience, I have gained hands-on exposure to recruitment and administrative processes, which sparked my interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources. I am particularly interested in roles that focus on recruiting, employee experience, and supporting organizational growth through thoughtful hiring and people practices.
After relocating to Santa Cruz, California in late 2025, I am now focused on building my career within Human Resources. I am eager to continue learning, contribute to a collaborative team, and help create positive and effective workplace environments where employees can succeed.

Community Involvement
As of 2020, I became an official mentor of an organization called FIRST Robotics. My husband, Drew Williams, and the other mentors of the team, sought out to provide a positive and educational experience for a group of students at Vestal High School in Vestal, NY. Each year we compete in a competitive game decided by FIRST to which the students design and build an entire robot from scratch with the guidance of the mentors.
Being able to mentor students in this capacity was an amazing opportunity and it was an incredible experience to be able to work with 20+ students on their road to find their own field of interest.
